About Kirkwood Wine Stroll

The Kirkwood Business Owners’ Association is celebrating the 13th annual Wine Stroll on Friday, September 20th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The businesses in this historic Atlanta neighborhood open their doors and invite guests to sample wines from around the world while they enjoy the community experience of this popular area hot-spot. With each ticket purchased, guests receive a souvenir wine glass,  program and live entertainment.

More than 40 participating locations will be pouring a sample of red and white wine and will offer light snacks. Additional dining options include small plates available for purchase and dine-in specials at Kirkwood restaurants. Other businesses will offer specials, discounts, prize drawings, demonstrations and music.

Proceeds from the Wine Stroll will be used to enhance the business districts and help fund other Kirkwood organizations and events. Tickets are limited and may sell out in advance. Please consider purchasing your tickets now to help the KBOA determine how many guests to expect. Ticket prices $40 in advance, $50 the week of the event/at the door.

Who We Are

The Kirkwood Business Association, also known as KBOA, was established in 2007 to promote growth, stability and profitability of the Kirkwood Business District. Kirkwood is bound on the north by DeKalb Avenue, on the south by Memorial Drive and Interstate 20, on the west by Montgomery Street, and on the east by 1st Avenue.

Kirkwood was founded in the 1870’s. Today, this historic neighborhood has three main business district areas and more than 3,000 households.

What We Do

The Kirkwood Wine Stroll is the main fundraiser of the KBOA. Proceeds have been used to fund scholarships, support our local schools, clean up and maintain the downtown business district and support other local non-profits.

KBOA partners with other neighborhood organizations such as the Kirkwood Neighborhood Organization, the Coan Splash Pad Project and LantaGras to participate in other special events and fundraisers throughout the year.

Why We Do It

The Kirkwood Wine Stroll is the main fundraiser of the KBOA. We produce this event to connect with our neighbors, raise funds for our organization’s operating fund, beautification and marketing of the Kirkwood Business Districts.

We also LOVE TO GIVE BACK!

2017 KBOA donated $1000 to 5 local nonprofits serving our community. Check out the awards
